Patient Forms

We will request that you complete our  patient forms located in the New Patient Center. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.

Consultation

Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. William Koppari to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. William Koppari to learn more about you, your condition, and  expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.

Examination

.Our office uses the latest in scientific technology, the Insight Thermal Scan System is state of the art instrumentation for thermal evaluation of the Autonomic Nerve System designed to check for misalignment in the upper neck and the full spine. The way it works is by measuring the temperature of both sides of the spine. Your body is symmetrical so the temperature on one side should be the same as the temperature on the other. But, if one of the vertebral bones is out of alignment in the spine and causing interference to the normal nerve flow from you brain to your body one side will get hotter than the other. The Insight is used to measure the temperature to determine if there is symmetry of heat throughout the spine or not. Using this information, the Upper Cervical Chiropractor then knows if he needs to make a correction or not. Even more important, after giving a correction, the Insight Thermal System can be used to verify that a correction was made by showing a return of symmetry of heat readings throughout.

X-Ray Studies

X-rays are not typically required and we do not take X-rays at our location, however depending on your specific condition, we may recommend X-rays before beginning your care.  This would be determined during the initial consultation and examination.

Report of Findings

This typically will be done on your second visit, after the Dr. has time to study the findings of the examinations performed.  Once the information is collected  Dr. William Koppari will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:

  1. How can you help me?
  2. How often do I need to come in?
  3. What  will  my treatment  cost?

After reviewing your health history,  goals, and examining your spine, Dr. William Koppari will discuss recommendations and notify you if  your condition  requires care with other providers.   Dr. William Koppari  will  provide the best  treatment and  wellness program for your needs.

Chiropractic Care

At the conclusion of this initial  appointment, you can choose to  experience your first adjustment - specific to your needs.  Care is interactive, so you can express any concerns or questions you may have regarding your adjustments at any time.

Wellness Program

Prior to leaving, the doctor may suggest a  wellness program  to incorporate into your daily routine at home.  If you are in pain when you first come into our office this may include: ice application instructions, certain activities or positions to avoid, and at home exercises and/or stretches. Every person is unique, therefore it's vital that you follow all recommendations that Dr. outlines for you. The purpose  of our wellness program is for  you  to achieve good spinal alignment, have a  healthy diet, exercise, and maintain a positive mental state.
